Weight room workout for pre-teens/teens 10 - 14 years old.
Mondays and Thursdays | 3:45 PM to 4:15 PM
Your teen will work directly with a YMCA weight room trainer in this small group training class. They will gain strength and endurance all while learning proper techniques and weight room etiquette.
Registration required. Members only program. Discount teen memberships available for 12 - 17 year olds.
An excellent way to build confidence and strong swimmers. For children 5 to 18 years of age. Swimmers will be placed in workouts according to age, strength, and experience.
Summer Swim Team will begin practicing Monday, May 15th from 3:30 - 6:00 PM.
When auditioning, swimmer must be able to swim one length of the pool, any stroke, unassisted. Tryouts are only for swimmers who have not participated on Ardmore Family YMCA swim team in the past.
If accepted onto the team, swimmer must have a family or single parent YMCA membership.
Build confidence and improve stroke skills with swim team prep. For kids 7 and up.
Prep classes will meet Tuesday and Thursday 3:30 - 5:30 PM beginning Tuesday, May 2nd.
Members and nonmembers are welcome to participate in swim team prep. Fee for prep: $40 members | $65 nonmembers

Encouraging youth to be healthy and active is one of our main mission at the Ardmore Family YMCA. During our weight room fitness class participants will learn healthy lifestyle principles, fitness center etiquette, and safe lifting techniques.
