SUMMARY:Mommy/Daddy and Me
DESCRIPTION:Accompanied by a parent\, infants and toddlers learn to be comfortable in the water and develop swim readiness skills through fun and confidence-building experiences\, while parents learn about water safety\, drowning prevention\, and the importance of supervision. \nMommy and me classes are designed for infants and toddlers 6 months to 3 years. \n$40 for members and $60 for nonmembers \nThis session will be Mondays and Wednesdays @ 11:00 AM in the warm water pool.  Classes will begin Monday\, May 15th and end Wednesday\, May 24th. \nRegistration forms are available on our website under programs and services or at the Y front desk.

SUMMARY:Safety Around Water
DESCRIPTION:Safety Around Water is designed for preschool aged children 3 years to 5 years.  Swimmers become comfortable and confident in the water through practicing safe water habits\, engaging in underwater exploration\, and learning how to swim to safety if they fall into a body of water. \nStudents will achieve basic swimming competency by learning two benchmark skills:  1) Swim\, Float\, Swim – sequencing front glide\, roll\, back float\, roll\, front glide\, and exit and\, 2) Jump\, push\, turn\, grab. \n$40 for members and $60 for nonmembers. \nTuesdays and Thursdays 5:30 – 6:00 PM in the warm water pool.
